The Farmers Markets of Napa Valley is a collaborative initiative that brings together six California Certified farmers markets throughout Napa Valley with a shared mission of supporting local agriculture, strengthening small family farms, and connecting communities with the people who grow their food.

The collaboration was made possible through a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture's Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP), allowing the markets in Napa, St. Helena, Calistoga, and Yountville to work together to promote and celebrate farmers markets across the region.

While each market maintains its own unique character, location, and management, they are united by a common commitment to:

Certified Farmers Markets are approved through California's certification system, which is designed to support local agriculture, protect transparency, and connect consumers directly with the people who grow their food. At a Certified Farmers Market, certified farmers sell agricultural products that they have grown themselves.

Certified farmers markets help small and mid sized farms bring fresh, seasonal products directly to their communities while giving shoppers confidence in where their food comes from. The program is rooted in authenticity, agricultural heritage, and a simple promise:
